Introduction
APPCityLife, Inc. is a new media publishing company which publishes mobile applications on a dynamic publishing platform (“Platform”, “Service”) developed and supported by Onqueue Technologies, Inc. (“Onqueue”, “Appliciti” “us”, “we”) that enables users (“App Creators”, “customers”, “you”) to create mobile applications (“Apps”) with unique content (“Content”) for other users (“End-user”, “users”). We collect and use personal information to operate our services so we take online privacy very seriously. The following document details our privacy policy; please read this very carefully.
What information is collected and how is it used?
We may ask for personal information such as your name, email address, credit card information if you’re making payments for services, or use identification data such as cookies or location data.
Cookies:
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. Cookies are required to use the Platform to improve your overall user experience. We use cookies to record current session information. You may be required to log back in to your account after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others accidentally accessing your account contents.
Location:
All mobile phones have the ability to share location data, however we will only collect such information when you proactively decide to reveal that information. APPCityLife uses the location information from your phone to tailor the mobile experience to your current location.
Aggregated Usage Statistics:
APPCityLife may collect statistics about the user behavior of the Platform or Apps. APPCityLife uses information collected for the following—though not limited to—general purposes: products and services provisioning and assessment for future service improvements.
Personal Information:
Any personal information you volunteer during the profile creation and user registration process may be collected and stored, certain information may be necessary to use certain Apps features.
User Generated Content:
App Creators own their content submitted when making Apps using the Platform; end-users own the content they share on Apps. We do not take legal responsibility for content created or shared by users. You own all of the content and information. In addition for content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos and videos, you agree and understand we are given a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any intellectual property content that you submit or share with the Platform or Apps. No asset shall be assumed as public domain and free to use notwithstanding the current status of any attached license agreements. For assets to be labeled as public domain and free to use, it requires a license explicitly stating as such. App Creators’ use of a license of assets does not affect APPCityLife’s right to access the asset and use it in connection with the Platform or otherwise in connection with our business.
What information is shared?
Between End-users, App Creators, and Us:
Besides information collected and detailed in this Privacy Policy we may also allow App Creators to communicate with End-users.
Between End-user to End-user:
This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information volunteered by an End-user in the use of our Apps or Platform, insofar as it may be shared between End-user to End-user. If you do not wish this information to be shared then do not volunteer content.
Between End-user and third-parties:
Advertising platforms may collect information regarding you via cookies during your use of Apps to provide targeted advertising that is relevant to you specifically. APPCityLife may under special circumstances release information gathered, such as to comply with subpoenas or to rectify actions which violates our Terms of Service.
How information gathered may be used?
Information we collect may be used to improve the quality of our Platform and Apps. We may also use information gathered for placement of targeted advertisements. Our goal is to deliver ads that are mutually beneficial to advertisers, App Creators, and End-users alike.
How to change or remove information?
You may change the information stored on the Platform or Apps by editing or deleting that information. You may also remove content you share or delete your account. If your content has been shared prior to it’s deletion, we are not responsible for that content.
General Terms
APPCityLife’s Terms of Service states all users are responsible for the content utilized by them on the Platform.
Continuity of Service:
We will transfer information about you if APPCityLife is acquired by or merged with another company.
Opt-out:
If we ever send you communication by e-mail concerning new products, services or information that you did not expressly request, we will provide means by which you may request no further notices.
